Simple Syrup with different flavor options
Ingredients

Caramel:

- Once the sugar is dissolved, keep it on the heat and let it gently simmer for 15-20 minutes, until it turns a beautiful golden brown color.
- Once the mixture is caramelized, take it off the heat, and add the vanilla extract. Allow to cool then transfer to an airtight container. Store in the fridge

Uses of simple syrup
You can use simple syrup for a variety of stuff. Simple syrup is used for alcoholic drinks, non-alcoholic drinks, iced beverages, cold beverages, basically anything you can think of. It can also be used to take your baking to the next level! You can use whatever kind of extract that you prefer, but I really like keeping it simple. There are so many extract options out there now. Be creative and make it your own.. The brown sugar simple syrup is my personal favorite. I love to use it in my cold brew coffee in the mornings!
For the best flavor, you should store the syrup in an airtight container. I like to use a mason jar for mine. It keeps well and it just looks pretty.
